Real Social Event: The Atlanta Opera Ball 2014
Tony Brewer and Company is honored to have worked with The Atlanta Opera on many events since 2001. Once again we were thrilled to provide the elaborate atmosphere for their annual Opera Ball, benefiting the exceptional artistry of the opera. The ball was held on Saturday, October 25, 2014 at the The Ritz-Carlton, Buckhead. The evening was themed after the season’s opening production, Madama Butterfly, and featured a gourmet dinner, dancing, and luxury items in the silent and live auctions, not to mention show stopping décor!
Make sure to visit the Atlanta Opera website and get your tickets to see their beautiful production.
Take a look inside the elegant world of Madama Butterfly (with that special Tony Brewer touch!)
We were inspired by the beautiful Japanese setting of Madama Butterfly. Guests were welcomed into the prefunction space by gorgeous period Kimonos, displayed alongside exquisite Ikebana floral.
A noble display of Ukiyo-e period kimonos adorned the walkway to the ballroom creating a stately, grand entrance.
A custom painted traditional Japanese backdrop mural took center stage, setting the tone for the ballroom. The mural was inspired by Japanese shoji screens.
Tony Brewer & Company has a beautiful line of custom linens! The linen design for this Japanese-inspired evening featured a pale silver woven motif inspired by Japanese Temari Balls, which are intricate designs woven from yarn, on a lavender satin. Delicate heirloom dusty pink roses and soft lily centerpieces with stock, hydrangea, and hypericum berries balanced the room with color and elegance.
